Many years ago, a professor I interviewed with foe a position at the university asked me if I knew what the meaning of my last name meant. I told him I did not. He began speaking in Italian, in my grandmother's language, some words were familiar, some were not. But then he said, "Urso, ursa, the great bear, like the constellation, Urso means great bear, the grizzly bear. It was from that moment on that whenever I considered names I would do alot of research into their meaning. He was a great boss, a one-of-a-kind boss, one who will never be forgotten.
